Setting up roles and permissions

A role is a bundle of permissions (like dashboard access, driver access, or warehouse access). You can rename a role freely, or grant driver permissions to a role that also has dashboard access — the system reacts to the permission bundle, not the label.

Every company starts with a set of standard roles already provisioned, which you can use as-is or extend with your own company-specific roles as your team's needs grow.
