Containa Cookie Policy

Last updated: [INSERT DATE ON PUBLICATION]

This Cookie Policy explains how Containa Pty Ltd ([PLACEHOLDER — ABN/ACN not yet registered]) ("Containa," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on our website and Platform, and should be read together with our [Privacy Policy].

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They allow the site to recognise your browser and remember certain information, such as whether you're logged in. "Similar technologies" includes browser local storage, which some parts of our Platform use for the same kind of purpose without being a cookie in the strict technical sense.

2. Cookies we currently use

We currently use only one cookie, which is strictly necessary for the Platform to function. We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies.

payload-tokenAuthenticates your logged-in session across the company dashboard, super-admin console, and the driver, pack, and warehouse applications. Without it, you would need to log in again on every page.Strictly necessary7 days, or until you log outFirst-party (host-only — not shared across subdomains)

This cookie is set as HttpOnly (not readable by page scripts) and Secure in production (only sent over HTTPS), reducing the risk of it being intercepted or accessed by malicious scripts.

4. Cookies we may use in future

We may introduce additional cookies or similar technologies for analytics, marketing, or advertising purposes in the future — for example, to understand how our marketing website is used or to measure the effectiveness of campaigns — even though none are active as at the date of this Policy. If we do, we will update the table in Section 2 to name the specific cookies, their purpose, duration, and provider, and will provide any consent mechanism required by law at that time (e.g. a cookie banner, if non-essential cookies are introduced).

5. Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. Because payload-token is strictly necessary for authentication, blocking or deleting it will log you out and prevent you from using the tenant, admin, driver, pack, or warehouse applications until you log in again. We do not currently offer an in-Platform cookie preference centre, as there are no optional cookies to manage.

6. Third-party cookies

We do not currently embed any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on our website or Platform, and accordingly no third-party cookies are set through Containa as at the date of this Policy.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies as described in Section 4. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date.
