Choosing your subdomain

How your company's unique Containa URL is chosen and validated during onboarding.

Your subdomain is the unique web address your team and customers will use to reach your Containa workspace — for example, yourcompany.containa.io.

Picking a subdomain

Enter your preferred subdomain during onboarding. It's checked for availability as you type, so you'll know immediately if it's already taken by another company.

What makes a subdomain valid

Subdomains follow standard format rules and can't use certain reserved words. If you're asked to resubmit after a correction request, the availability check won't falsely flag your own current subdomain as taken.
