Understanding warehouse status: from Draft to Put Away

Learn the complete lifecycle of warehouse statuses and how they trigger downstream logistics operations.

Inbound and outbound warehouse jobs each move through their own sequence of statuses, so you always know where a shipment stands.

Outbound status flow

Draft, Expecting, Partially Allocated, Allocated, Ready to Pick, Partially Picked, Picked, Ready to Dispatch, Dispatched — outbound jobs move through picking and dispatch preparation before leaving the warehouse.

Why "Partially..." statuses exist

A shipment with multiple product lines won't always have every line at the same stage. The partial statuses let you track progress accurately instead of waiting for every line to finish before the job's status updates.

Inbound status flow

    Draft: Job created, not yet confirmed.
  • 2
    Confirmed: Details locked in.
  • 3
    Expecting: Awaiting arrival.
  • 4
    Partially Received / Received: Goods arriving, or fully arrived.
  • 5
    Partially Put Away / Put Away: Goods being stored, or fully stored.
