Tracking freight job status
How general freight jobs move through their status lifecycle.
Unlike container jobs, a general freight job's status is tracked at the job level only — there's no separate per-line completion status.
How status is calculated
The job's status rolls up from all of its driver-allocation legs — every line's legs for a multi job, or the job-level legs for a single job. It's only considered Completed once everything underneath it is done.
Why this matters for invoicing
Because completion is only tracked at the job level, general freight is invoiced per job rather than per line.
