Setting up job flags and billing surcharges

Configure operational flags and charges so finance can bill completed work clearly.

Job flags are tags your team can attach to a job to note something operationally relevant — Hazmat, Fumigation, Side Loader, After Hours, Waiting Time, or any custom tag your company defines.

Charge types

Each flag is set up as None (informational only), Flat (a fixed surcharge each use), or Per Unit (a surcharge multiplied by a quantity you enter, like hours of waiting time).

Where flags attach

Container jobs attach flags per physical container. General freight attaches flags per job line. Warehouse jobs attach flags at the job level, not per product line.
